The extensive Patient Record Request (PRR) application taps into several existing systems to streamline the process of requests for information from a patient’s medical records from the hospital/clinic. It is fully integrated with Epic and MRVIEW via several interfaces. The requests are entered into Epic’s ROI module, automatically downloaded to this application and sent over to the hospital entity or third party in charge of creation of the requested data from the patient’s medical record. The scanned authorization form is also automatically transferred to said entity for compliance. The individual PDF files created from different sections in Epic and other ancillary patient care applications are then combined into a secure PDF for transmission to the record requester.
